Ellen Frankel, MSW has worked in the field of eating disorders since
1987. She has served as consultant for numerous programs including the Massachusetts Eating Disorder Association (MEDA) and
Laurel Hill Inn, a residential eating disorders program in Boston. She provides workshops for students and professionals on
the treatment and prevention of eating disorders and has made several television appearances. She has served on the MEDA
board of directors and authored the column "Body and Soul" for the association’s monthly newsletter.
Judith Matz, MSW has worked in the field of compulsive eating
since 1986 and is the director of the Chicago Center For Overcoming Overeating, Inc. She provides workshops and seminars for
the lay public in addition to therapists, dieticians and exercise physiologists interested in non-diet approaches for their
clients. She has written many articles about this topic and served as co-editor for the Overcoming Overeating Newsletter.
She is in private practice in Skokie, Illinois.
